Chargers ranked number two in the nation

After 16 straight wins, the Georgia Highlands College men’s basketball team has proven this is their season and they’re the ones to beat.

In the NJCAA’s most recent ranking, GHC has moved from fourth to second in the nation.

The Chargers are just behind Trinity Valley, who is in the top spot, but remain well ahead of Northwest Florida State in eighth, the only team so far this season to beat GHC.

The Chargers are coming off a 97-70 victory against East Georgia College, and will play again tonight (JAN 13) in Macon at 7:30PM against Central Georgia Technical College.

With their latest win, the Chargers go to 16-1 on the season and 5-0 in GCAA play.
