School supplies donated to students in need
Georgia Highlands College donated several boxes of school supplies on Tuesday to the Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth to provide those in need with the resources necessary to excel in school. GHC additionally had the privilege of meeting with Latino children in the area during the Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth’s collaborative community program called “Strengthening Families” to talk about the importance of education and to pass out some of the donated supplies.
