GHC honors outstanding faculty and staff members

 

At the beginning of each year, GHC kicks off the fall semester with an in-service meeting, bringing together all of its faculty and staff from each of its five campuses. Several employees were recognized for their contributions during the 2014-2015 academic year.

The 2015 awards and recipients were:

Outstanding Administrator Award – Ken Reaves

This award is designed for administrators who consistently project a positive image and who serve the college above and beyond the call of duty. This award recognizes an administrator who actively contributes to the success of the college and his or her staff. Reaves is the dean for the Marietta campus.

Vivian Benton Award – Ken Davis

This award is designed for staff members who consistently project a positive image and who serve the college above and beyond the call of duty. This award recognizes a staff member who actively contributes to the success of the college. Davis is GHC’s publications editor.

Community Involvement Award (Staff) – Maria Lauro

This award is designed to recognize individuals who significantly impact our community. This award recognizes a staff member who demonstrates a passion for making a difference by sharing their spirit, positive attitude and time with others. Lauro is an enrollment management specialist.

Employee of the Year - Rob Laltrello

This award is designed to recognize individuals who consistently support the mission and goals of the institution by routinely demonstrating our shared values and supports an environment of excellence. Laltrello is the chief technology officer.

Department of the Year - Division of Humanities

This award is designed to recognize the department which consistently supports the mission and goals of the institution by routinely demonstrating our shared values and supports and supports an environment of excellence.
