UPCOMING 10th annual Managing Human Resources Seminar
GHC will be holding its 10th annual Managing Human Resources Seminar on August 11. The workshop will take place from 9am to 3pm and will be instructed by Chief Craig Millsap.
The workshop costs $59 and will be open until all remaining spots are filled. Lunch will be provided.
Labor Attorney Dan Murphy will be a special guest speaker. He will be discussing the latest hot-button legal issues in management.
The full seminar will focus on “Recruiting, Training and Retaining Talent in a Competitive Labor Market.” The following three topics will be explored: “Obtaining training funds for new and incumbent workers under the new WIA/WIOA thru The Governor's Office of Workforce Development (GOWD)," “Attracting and Retaining Talent,” and “Creating a Bully Free Workplace Environment."
