Applications currently being accepted for 10th annual free Foundation Camp

 

Applications are currently being accepted for Georgia Highlands College's 10^th annual free Foundation Camp for boys between the ages of 10 and 14.

 

The two-week camp takes place on the GHC Rome campus and starts on June 1^st and lasts until June 12^th. Foundation Camp is free, but has a limited number of spaces available that are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

Transportation within Rome’s city limits is also provided, including a free breakfast and lunch.

 

Foundation Camp is one of several partnerships between the 100 Black Men of Rome-Northwest Georgia and Georgia Highlands College. It focuses on academics, athletics and enrichment courses intended to build self-respect and confidence, and to allow the young men to experience college.
