Two students win essay contest
AS SEEN IN THE DAILY TRIBUNE NEWS:
Two Georgia Highlands College students had no idea a class assignment would score them a financial reward.
Hayley Cottle, a dual-enrollment student from Cartersville High School, and Chazmyane Griffin, a sophomore art major, were named the winners of the annual Carolyn Hamrick Memorial Women’s History Month Essay Contest, part of the activities planned to celebrate March as Women’s History Month.
