College sends Chargers off on the tournament road ahead
Friday, Georgia Highlands College celebrated the men’s basketball team as they prepare to head off to Kansas. The college gave the Chargers several gift bags and snacks for the long tournament road ahead. The players will be heading out early Saturday morning.
This is the first conference championship in the history of GHC Athletics. The team won the GCAA Championship and earned a spot in the NJCAA National Championship Tournament, where the Chargers will play against the Grizzlies of Butler Community College in the first round on Tuesday, March 17 at 11:00am.
