Fall Open House dates announced

GHC open house for potential students

This fall Georgia Highlands College opens its doors to those interested in earning a college degree or completing college-level classes. Open House events held at each GHC campus will give prospective traditional and adult students and their families an opportunity to investigate the possibilities at GHC.

Incentives for attendees are priority application and financial aid processing. During the morning, a comprehensive review of enrollment procedures will be provided, including admissions and financial aid.

“It is really a fantastic opportunity for individuals to get a first-hand look at GHC before they enroll in the college,” Todd Jones, GHC vice president of student affairs, said.

Representatives from various aspects of the college experience will be present to answer questions. Members of faculty will be available for inquiries regarding academic programs and possibilities for future application of the degrees offered at GHC. Student clubs will be represented to inform potential students of the extra-curricular opportunities. A GHC Adult and Veterans Affairs representative will also be available to offer guidance in navigating college as an adult student.

“This event is open to anybody that may have an interest in attending GHC,” Jones said. “We encourage working adults to attend. We intentionally scheduled this event on the weekend to give everyone a chance to find out if GHC is right for them.”

Upcoming Open House Fall Dates:

Cartersville Campus — Thursday, Nov. 6 @ 5:30 p.m.
