Study abroad information sessions announced

Are you interested in learning more about other cultures? How would you like to travel to another country and possibly get course credit while doing so? If this interests you, then you will definitely want to find out more about the GHC study abroad program. GHC has a spring break 2015 trip to Costa Rica, as well as a Health Sciences and month-long University System of Georgia (USG) consortium trip to Costa Rica in June 2015. The college will also send a small group of honors students to Kennesaw State University's summer program in Montepulciano, Italy.  All of GHC's Costa Rica trips will be based at the University of Georgia's campus in Monteverde, Costa Rica. You can find out more about GHC study abroad and UGA Costa Rica at the following links:

You can learn more about these trips by attending a study abroad information session. Also, the Students Without Borders (SWB) is associated with study abroad. SWB has fun activities and excursions in the Atlanta area that are focused on other countries and cultures. Attached to this e-mail is a schedule of fall 2014 SWB meetings, a flyer about the spring break 2015 Costa Rica trip and a schedule of study abroad information sessions on various GHC campus sites. Grants and scholarships will be available for study abroad.
