Earth Day Event planned at GHC Paulding Campus
Earth Day event hosted at Georgia Highlands College Paulding Campus
WHAT:
The 4th annual Earth Day event will include many activities for all ages from face painting to corn hole. There will be a free E-Waste recycling drop off as a hassle free way to get rid of old electronics, as well as many local businesses showing what they are doing for the environment including the United Parcel Service who will be showing off their latest in eco-friendly delivery vehicles. A BBQ lunch from the Hickory Hut will be provided at no cost to the attendees. There will also be free coffee donated by Starbucks.
John Martin, chief information officer for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, will be the keynote speaker and will discuss how technology plays an important role in the protection of wildlife.

Hosted by Green Highlands, a student organization that promotes environmental awareness.
